When is the Salt springs race?

The May race is May 2-3. Accommodations at the race site (camping) or the nearest hotel is in Angels Camp, 13 miles up the mountain. Fun place. Murphy's is a mining town another 13 miles past angels camp, that looks like an old John Wayne western scene. Still has hitching rails in front of the buildings and saloons.

There Is A Hotel Right In Copperopolis Called Lake Tulloch Resort 1-209-785-8200 A Very Short Drive From The Race Site And Alot Closer Than Angels Camp And They Have Live Music , A Cabana Bar , Restaurant Everything One Would Need And Very Nice People And The Bar And Restaurant OWNER Is A Big Race Fan Which He Will Most Likely Be At The Race Course During The Day .
