  • Ele Starter Batteries - Delivery

    Hey,

I am trying to sort out all the requests for starter batteries. So far, Dad has not found a source to deliver them in the mail, or truck without some serious shipping charges. Just about the cost of the battery.

Here is the Deal for Alexandria LA, Winter Nationals. We have a friend who is going that lives not to far away, and is willing to deliver some of them at the race. I am not able to make the trip.

For those wanting a battery, Dad asks you send a check ASAP to him. Once received, he will make sure your battery is on the motorhome.

Cost is $60.00 for the Starter battery. Make check payable to Lyle Mason

    Mail to:

    Lyle or Dave Mason

    226 North Moorland Drive
    Battle Creek, MI 49015

Please include a note with your name and contact info in case there is a problem.

Should you need questions answered, you can email me or call Dad.

Jeff check with David Baize. I think he has a relative in the go cart world.

        starters

Starters can be bought at just about any of the many kart shops in the US. That is a good place to start if you want to support your local businesses. Most of the starters are produced by Coleman and Burris. I prefer the Coleman Super Mini for it's compact size and quality construction. You can also find starters and other interesting kart items that can be used on race boats at the websites for Comet Kart Sales, Russell Karting, American Power Sports and APPCO. For those that care there is a ton of general information on a website called www.ekartingnews.com.

Hope that helps....I have no affiliation with these companies, other than having been a customer for many years.

          Outboard Starter

Try Kart-o-Rama.com , click on starter on the right side of the page, you should find what you need, They have good prices!! Be sure to tell them you want it for a outboard motor, takes a shorter output shaft !!!

We have the Coleman, seems to work great. The battery dad sells will give you a lot more run time before charge. So far the Pro guys have been able to use one for the whole weekend without charging on a normal usage scale.

We bought ours through Kart-O-Rama. You can shop online and click on the outboard starter.

Gregory, will the Alex delivery work for you ? I know we tried hard to find a shipping service that would not charge more than the battery !
