The ODA has just signed a new race in Iowa City, IA at the Riverside Casino and resort on May 30-31. There will be $3,000 prize and tow money. This is a luxury casino and resort which will be a great sponsor. The lake it is on is owned by the casino and is a private lake.

Casino Race
Thanks to HydroRacer. This a direct result of NBRA being a corporate sponsor of HR. Big time sponsor with the potential to do some great races in the future. They are very enthusiastic and want too make this race something special. Stay tuned I am sure we will have further announcements. The ODA and the NBRA have six races in Il. Mo. Ia. Over $20000.00 in prize & tow money.

Race Canceled
This race has been canceled. The Casino has decided that the economy is too slow to allow them to sponsor a race this year. They said if things improve next year they would like to do it then. I am sorry if this has caused any incovienence for anyone. But no one can be any more disappointed than I am.

Sucks
I hope this is not a prelude to what many races will be this year, and not just NBRA, all of them. One positive, it gives you time to develop the race more, and make sure all the needs are met from Porta Potties to activities. Maybe see if the casino can have some paramutual betting on us racing there !Dave Mason
