      Hey Howie.................

Thanks for the info. Nice to see the spirit of cooperation the J Committee had with the SORC in approving 'their' request for replacement pistons and rings for the OMC engine as to be in harmony with their Stock Outboard spec manual.

Looks like you guys and gals had a productive pro-active session!

      See you in Ocoee!

          J class

Howie, Thanks for the report . I have a suggestion , The "Dave Scott linkage "is available and in stock . Would it not make sence to allow this linkage with the starter rather than have Allan Brown make up a new linkage ? Allans Parts are great, but it seem a little silly to re -design a working part that is available. This would not conflict the contract with Brown Tool ,as he is still making the comlpete kit. The " Scott linkage " is an accessory used with the electric starter . Thanks . Shawn

                  Shawn,
We have asked Steve Hearn to take the Dave Scott parts to Alan, maybe with Alan's ok they will become ok for use instead of having to remanufacture the parts himself. Let's give Steve a chance to present the part to BTM.

By the way any part is legal to use for the throttle set up provided you have a working starter in place.
