I don't think Ron is going to race anymore but I haven't gave up on Rick his son and Ron as the pit man and banker. I think they would run the D/E hydro if they came back. I have a extra complete rig they could try any time. I think he would enjoy watching his son, I know I did when I quite racing.

hi ron
you are getting into old geezer territory now are now old enough to join the old guys and run an alky engine . much safer as we spend a lot of time ;on the tow rope. great strengthener training for the arm and shoulder muscles.
easy on the back as motor is very lite. no scales either.
happy birthday ron. you are a great friend.

Tom,
Great to hear from you. I`m doing fine and the appraisal business is going strong. Unfortunatly, some of the business is forclosure. Lots of big antlered bucks in this area because of 1)genetics, 2)lots of dissolved limestone in the soils, 3)superior agriculture crops, and 4) somewhat limited hunting pressure. Really enjoyed racing with you and Joey. So glad our lifestyle circles overlapped back then. Met your sister at a race and she took some pictures of me, my son, and a friend I brought along that raced 4 cylinder stuff. Thanks for the birthday greeting and take care.
