I bought mine from a kart shop in Washington, named Kart-O-Rama. I think you can find it though a Google search.

I started and finished all five times at the Worlds (four heats and one restart) and I think I wore poor Gene East out. Thanks to Bob and Don Rusnak and their electric starter I made the last heat. I want one for back up.

Tim, you really impressed us. These 500's are no toys. You did good and finished ahead of us. We use the starters as our starter, the rope is the back up. Look up Kart-O-Rama for the starter, they know of boat racing and easy to deal with. What a great event the worlds was. I just love the international compitition. Hope somethin like this will happen again in my life time. Bob .
