We had a great time at Tabor City even though we didn't get to run but 3 of the 4 flights Sat. I had the camera but everyone was so bundled up I didn't even get it out of the truck, too cold and windy! Thanks to Steve Dunn for all the hard work and the Sat night party. And a big thanks to Stacy for a great job registering and scoring.

I adopted Devin Adams for the day and recruited him to drive JR while Uncle Gary Pond spent the entire day in the patrol boat!! He did great and now he understands what the difference is between JH & JR. He did come back to finish 2nd (I think) in JH but didn't want the motor dried out for the 2nd heat of JR....

Update on Devin!

He's actually asleep on the couch as I type. I missed the picture by like a hundredth of a second because I was cheering so hard for him to save it (which he did about five times before he lost it). I think he actually enjoyed going over...that is, until he had to get out of the water and freeze. It didn't scare him and I think he's trying to talk the "Grand Puba" aka Gary Pond into buying him a runabout rig for next year! Can't Wait!!!

Yes, csr did run on saturday. I was in the safety boat with Jimmy Shane watching all the action. Kevin Harrell won.

Hopefully, Stacy will post all the results soon. Several national point battles were riding on this race!
