I was up at Ed Runnes' shop last week, and he specifically stated his goal speed for the Sidewinder A, he's going to make it competetive enough to run with the top two or three OMC's in each class. This way, if someone is getting frusterated with an under powered OMC and running toward the back of the pack, the purchase of a SW will put you in the hunt. A good strong OMC will still be competetive. REREAD... a good strong omc will still be competetive. The new motor will not make the Evin's and John's obsolete, but it will weed out the good ones and bad ones. GL
