  • Building supplies for 2009 Hydro?

I am just about to start on my new boat for 2009. I have been looking for a place to get my supplies and stumbled on a place called the Public Lumber Company in Detroit MI. (http://www.hardwoodint.com/)

There nice site says they have Okoume Plywood, Sitka Spruce, West System epoxy, and Fastners. It sounds like one stop shopping. Has anyone dealt with them? Good, bad or soso?

    Thanks

    Supplies

I'd try Noah's in Toronto for the stuff. I've never been able to beat their prices on wood. I did buy some Sitka from Public once and don't think I'd ever go back. I think you can do better on price and be treated more friendly about anywhere else.

Steve, thanks a lot. I like Noahs better and there prices look great. I like being able to order it all from one spot and the savings on material will make up for shipping.. Thanks

            The finacial world sucks!

Thanks for the suggestions but after watching the stock market for another week of fantastic news including another 700 pt drop today I think everything is going on hold.

I don't believe we will be building or racing next year the way it looks. I am just thankfull that we had such a great time this year. I have no regrets, we met great folks and had a lot of side by side racing all year. It will not be forgotten.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for any kind of good news!
