Does anybody know..

If there will be testing on Friday?

Also, the sanction says "All boats crane launched". Does this mean outboard classes also??

Does this race draw a pretty good turnout of outboards? Considering bringing the Pond-powered 20SSH...

Friday testing, dont know. We should have a good field of 20's, and 0$ entry fee.

Friday testing at Clarksville............

I believe that we will be able to test on Friday. Remember that the outboards will be sharing the water with the Inboards. I will contact Robin Shane to confirm this. The outboards will have their own beach on the water to launch and retrieve boats from. The Inboards will be crane-launched from the old US 58 bridge close by. This is a very nice area, beautiful place to run and 100% supported by the town. It will be 1 1/4 mile course............bring your BIG wheel!
The "ONE ARM BANDIT" will be bringing his recently resurrected CSH ( the one that spit me out at Sharptown last year ) to Clarksville. Repaired by Ryan Runne, new paint by Paul Price and an engine rebuild by Jerry Davids. With the "Captain" back at the wheel it should be right up there with you, Ian!
Looks to be a great weekend of racing like the old days..........Inboards and Outboards racing together............same weekend, same site.

Friday testing at Clarksville...........

Just heard back from Robin Shane and the outboards will be allowed to test on Friday. Region 4 Rescue will NOT be available on Friday, however Gary Pond will have a rescue boat available if needed. Gonna be fun.........

The J props will not be there until Fri night / Sat morning. I believe the Inboards do have a few though.
