      Some Fun

A lot of fun was had at the site despite the high water and rain each morning. It turned out perfect for racing. No wind either, so the water was like racing water should be !

Thanks to I believe it was JTD Motorsports for providing the huge Semi trailer rig full of ATV's for us to use to haul boats up and down to the water, it sure saved a many of us from some sore backs.

A HUGE thanks to Touchstone Energy for the money ! I sure appreciated getting paid the tow money on the spot. As usualy Touchstone Energy did a fantastic job with the site. The seminars on how to manage energy on Sunday were very informative and the kids loved all the blow up air jumpy things !

Oh yeah, the one vendor, who sold the Gumbo......... that was the shizzle.

Thanks Art and Keith for all the hard work. This is a first class race with a first class sponsor. We had a great time and as Dave Mason said, the Gumbo was outstanding. Makes me ready to go to Alex and visit Tunk's.

Wow, sounds like y'all had a great time! Wish we could've been there, but things happened. We had to tell Tab that the race was canceled due to bad weather and flooding. Well, I was reading to Shane the results and Tab over heard and he was NOT very happy. When are we going to get to see some pics?

            Racing for the racers!!!

Dennis, thanks for the news, nothing on the NBRA site. I guess if it didn't get on H.R. who knows when the fans would hear, again thanks.

It sounds like it was another top quality race in Shelbyville. I don't like missing any race, but I really hate missing a race when so much hard work is so
obvious. These are the types of events we should all support. And, I really think that if I could have made it, I would have beat Dave Mason. At least this way, I can't be beat!

Looks like Keith had a great run in E Runabout but he ran into some tough luck in D and E Hydro. Did the Tohatsu not start?

                    My weekend

Started off great with a win in E Runabout. We decided to run our Tohatsu D on our C-mod runabout and it was a handful. When it came time for E-hydro the throttle cable broke at the throttle before the first heat. We got it fixed and ran the second heat and was running second when the motor got hot and burned a piston. On sunday we put the E-runabout engine on the hydro and did the same thing and burned a piston. We still had a great time end the E-runabout win made up for everything!!!!!!!

I'm quite selfish when it comes to my fix , Doug has informed me where this info comes from, I don't know who Cindy is by site but i commend you and anyone else that contributes, and look forward to reading. Thanks

Had you showed up I would have needed to set my throttle to 3/4 open instead of half !

In all seriousness, Homer Shultz has some serious top end....... Without a doubt he had the fastest straightaway speed of any boat out there.

Hey on a funny note, Tim Snider won the SEH race the first heat Sunday while we were both being towed in at the same time. They hooked us up tandem, and once we got close to shore we both started yanking on the rope to try and win .... hehehe, he ended up cutting me off to win though !!
