Grass Lake 08

This years Grass Lake race will be held September 6th and 7th. This is the same site as the 2009 Stock and J Nationals. The race will be conducted by MHRA. Many that have been to MHRA races the race will start on time and run like a well oiled machine. We will be having a dinner at the Apple creek camp ground which is the camp ground for the nationals. We will be running the Superlight tunnel boats and a stock marathon. Saturday’s stock marathon is the mid west marathon divisionals. So come out and get a pre-look at the race site, campground and other facilities that will be used for the 2009 Stock and J Nationals.

Here is the Schedule. Any issues please send me a PM by noon on Tuesday. after that we will not change the schedule.

Marathons..

Any of the SLT guys if there is an issue with running the two Marathons Back to back please let me know. I want to make sure that You SLT guys are not going to skip the Stock Marathon because it is back to back with the SLT marathon.

I don't want to shake things up and cause problems... which is why i'm only asking... but would it be possible to run the marathon earlier on Saturday (maybe even first). I have to leave around 3:30 on Saturday.

Running the 2 "A" classes Saturday, back to back, after the mini break, might be a little challenging for some of the racers. If no one objects , go for it ,,,,but you might start thinking about plan "B".
