There are a couple that were posted just a couple of days ago. I think they were 250's though. Find the posts, I am sure they can direct you to the right guy.

If you are serious contact Marc Johnson or Gary Pugh and have them build you one right here in the states, no need to have one shipped from Europe.

You are not going to find a Euro style OSY hull just sitting around here in the states. If you have cash and are serious contact Marc Johnson or Gary Pugh both are very capable of building what ever style you want Euro/ US write one of the fellows a check and you will get what ever you want. $$$$$$$

Bill Giles built himself a Euro style OSY 400 boat and it is looking good. Get a hold of him and he might build you one.

              Mostes 250 Hydro

Following the World Championships in October, I will have a 2001 Mostes 250/350 hydroplane available for purchase. Price to be determined, but will be reasonable realtive to price of a brand new boat. This boat will be unsuitable for OSY 400. I have no idea how it would work with a D or E Mod. Talk to you about it further in November if you are interested.

There will be several 125 European hydros for sale after the Worlds, these make very good OSY400 boats.

Hey Rex are you sure about this the 125 Euro designs seems to be a complete different boat. I am not a boat designer but I don't see how a tall heavy Yamato would work on a boat that was design for a one cylinder with no weight.

                  * I could be 100% wrong they just don't seem like the same boat to me.

You are 100% wrong....well. not really. The same Euro boats have worked very well in O-125 and OSY400...in UIM races....It will be interesting to see if the same boat would be competitive in an APBA clock start race.

When you are at the Worlds, you can evaluate for yourself!!

What is the weight of a 125 motor? and how much does a Yamato 102 -80 - weigh? I am only asking because I don't know not being sarcastic.

But remeber that the 125 has a stack bracket also, so the additional weight of the 400cc OSY may be somewhat offset by the exhaust system that allow that 1 cylinder engine to run almost as fast as the bigger 2 cylinder engine.

                          A 102 is about 87lbs

I think a current materials euro 125 runs about 65 lbs bare bones.

Ok, so would a 125 Euro boat work for a laydown osy boat? I think a 125 euro style would be too long. However that is why I'm asking.
