That was the last year I was there. Paulie ended up doing a belly flop by the time he hit the water. He was black and blue the next morning. Those 2 guys are NUTS. Eric and Paulie used to test the DMR and FE's under the Throgs neck bridge. Now you want to talk about rough water

Was 13 years ago on our first time drove all night got there about 2am left trailer in pats checked in at motel went to our room in the Linsay Place. Got up next morning and went outside and saw the mountins just blew us away because we had no idea where we were.

It became our favorite place that morning and have only missed one since Because Tony Masons daughter got married a few years ago.

CSH from early-mid 80s with Matt D'Agostino racing against Jim Sweeney's dad. They were pretty much side-by-side going down the backstreach. When they got close to the bridge, Matt jumped in the front of his boat and blew Mr. Sweeney over. I've heard about that happening but had never seen it done.

Leaving Sunday to travel to a wedding in Maryland. We left to go to a wedding of a friend of Anna's. It was all Koreans but us. We drove up in Terry Kerr's bright blue Dodge pickup with balloon tires since we borrowed his truck to travel from the race to the wedding and back. All other vehicles in the church parking lot were black Cadillacs or Mercedes. I think they believed we were gonna rob them.

I'm sorry I miss this race. Oshkosh is a lot of fun and where I go now, but I have a lot of good memories of Lockhaven.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the "bridge streaking". Never saw it (and glad I didn't) but it was great fun to hear about it later at the Falon.
