62 pre-registered, 12 more that I know of for sure, maybe another half dozen expected.

It'll be a nice, cozy pit area - good thing we all like each other

            Thank you CORA

for a great race. This was our first trip to Rockaway and it was a real treat. Thanks Mike and all for a well run show. The weather was much nicer than I anticipated and made for a great weekend.

On a side note to all reading this post PLEASE keep Al Benson in your prayers for a speedy recovery. He had an incident Sunday and ended up in a Portland hospital with some broken ribs and a punctured lung. I understand he is doing well, but will be in the Hospital for a few days. Get well quick Al and hope to see you back soon!

Thanks for coming down, Sean - you and your pet racer put on a great show as always.

Al is at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, so he is in good hands. At this point, only family is allowed to visit. Denise and I and the rest of Al's CORA family will check in on him when he's allowed visitors. And to update his condition, he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, as he has multiple fractures of on nine ribs, so they need to hang things back together.

We will also be working on a fundraiser with help from the SOA family, so stay tuned on that.
