  • Need Help or Ideas for boat transport

Trying to figure a way to get a boat from Florida to Texas, so far I've been unsuccessful.

Looking for help or any additional ideas for transporting a 10' Hydro.

    Idea#1:
Talked with Jack Stotts, he'll be up at the Dayton, Lockhaven and Hillsboro races over the next few weeks, I know everyone just got home from Whitney Point but is anyone traveling up north from Florida that might have space to carry an extra boat to possibly deliver to Jack?

    Idea#2:
The "Worlds" are scheduled at Lake Alfred in October, so would anyone being traveling through Texas on there return trip home after the races that might have space to drop a boat off in Texas?

    Idea#3: ?????????????????????

          Racing again, you ask ......

          Steve,
Here is the issues, its been 7 years already. How time goes by.

Went to the Winter Nationals in Alex a couple of years ago and found out that I do not make a very good spectator.

We have had over 45 days of 100 + degree tempertures this year in Austin and still have alot of summer to go. Third hottest year in recorded history according to the News people.
My skin has dried out and has gotten "ashy", my hair has completely bleached out to a bright white and the so called ground is cracked and dried.

I'm getting tired of reading Hydroracer every day and looking at the pictures (Especially Lately). I don't think my hands were made to punch a keyboard to enjoy boat racing. They really need a steering wheel and Throttle in them instead.

So....... I'm looking forward to racing again next year. I just need to figure out how I can get a boat from Florida to Texas before I dehydrate here.

But hoping to make some races in 2009 starting with the Winter National if everything goes okay.

          Dan

            Welcome Back

Will be good to see you around some time. I still remember the good old AOF days. Remember, put a pipe on it to go faster.

Any takers in getting Dan Parker's potential boat to Dayton next week or Lock Haven the next weekend (Labor Day)? I'm ready to transport it to Texas if I can get my hands on it at either of the above listed races.
