What will we need to get this 25ssh rig together?

So we are getting the boat and motor (see pics) what else will we need? Do they use some kind of kick out bracket? if so were do we get one? What about gas tank? anyone gut one? also need a couple turning fins, left sponson and back left (can see the brackets in the pics). The transom will need to be shortened, approx. 4 1/2 inches. How do people recommend doing this? we will need pullies and stuff, BTM? I believe. contact info for that stuff?

I don't have either yet, but should within a couple weeks, the boat in a week and a half and motor maybe a week later.

Sounds good, I new the initials BTM from lookin at the hardware on my CSH. I have talked to Cronk before. He re-profiled my 102 lower unit. Great work.

Silas, Mike Schmidt makes gas tanks. He was at Thompson running 250 Pro. Ask Bill Giles or Jave Jones at whitney point this week they might even have one. If not, there will be someone there that is willing to part with one.

Not sure of the price yet but it would be fair. If the prop you have doesn't work out you are welcome to try this one.

I have a bunch of B (20H) 2 blade wheels too. They wouldn't work for you though.

I was going to come up for Crystal Lake and Taunton but when Dad got sick I had to change my plans. It will be no problem to get it to you though. We'll work it out.

My son is up there right now. He is running at the Nationals then going to the antique raceboat regatta. Your DSR should be at the antique regatta, good place to buy & sell vintage stuff.

Tank and props

Silas, give me a call after the Nats. I have a tank and several props you can try . You should let Ken Hall have a look at the gear foot before you run it,and check the water pump out. This is not like the Yamato , it has a pump in the foot. I also may have a spare cone wrench for the gearfoot. Shawn
