I have noticed a stronger more positive attitude from racers this season. This makes positive things easier. It also makes all of us feel appreciated. Negative stuff from racers is neutral. But POSITIVE .....MAKE US ROCK!

Will they be taping the Mod's as well ? Since it is combined nationals it should be billed as such.

Process:

The Stock Outboard Commission approves an annual promotional budget and the funding for this production will be pulled from that budget. Although our priority is the promotion of Stock Outboard we are not blind to the need for a healthy APBA and the impact that all kneel down categories have on that mission.

We are filming a boat race, the Mods will have equal representation. How we use the footage will be driven by Stock Outboard and what is best for our category.

We are filming an EVENT ... Boats, Birds, Trees, People, Babys, "Babes" ... "A representation" of everything that goes on. It is a 45 minute "Highlights" film (with 15 minutes of advertising time to sell). Some stuff will make it, some won't. There is no intention to "snub" or leave any group out. This is the first time we are doing this. If successful (Meaning we cover most of our expenses) there may be consideration to do it again. If there is enough material to justify 2 - 1 hour shows instead of 1 - 1 hour show perhaps we can encourge other groups to help offset the expense and search out sponsors for next years event. As always I am open to suggestions for improvement. I would prefer that you send me a private message though, so that we don't get off track.
