They really aren't making too much progress...blew a tire about 9pm last night, just now getting it fixed and trying to get back on the road in Elko, Nevada.

It unfortunately was a trailer tire...Ashley took a picture, but can't send it yet....service issues. Hopefully they are good and rested as they still have about 22 hours to go!

Got a text message from The Traveling Kyles (Bahl and Hannon). They left Seattle yesterday and as of this AM were enjoying a smooth trip and had just entered scenic South Dakota. All is well on their front so far.

Leftcoast Racing

I was hoping the Leftcoast Racing Team was going to get on the road about the same time as the Traveling Kyle's so we could have a race to the pits....via the thread....but I guess it just wasn't in the plan for us!! Too much to do, plus the tire. LOL I hope that we get all of the glitches worked out early...and the rest of the trip is smooth!

Just talked to Tony and they are officially back on the road.

ouch! Trailer Or Truck Tire? How In The World Do You Jack Up That Trailer

Dan It Was A Trailer Tire And The Jack Is Here With Me At Home. Ouch. Tony Rolled Up On A Block To Get The Tire Off The Ground, He Was Able To Swap To The Spare. They Have A New Tire Now Incase It Happens Again. I Found A Tire Place In Elko,nv For Them As They Were Driving East. The Power Of A Computer. They Are Hitting Utah Real Soon.

just spoke to Kyle (Bahl)....they are in the middle of F---- nowhere, per Kyle. Yep you guessed it! Middle of So Dakota. All is well, despite a wind storm that shifted the top boats. And the peanut butter from the food box is holding them. Take care baby....momma lauri

Years back i was working at a gas station for some extra money when a guy came in with a tire that looked like that....Serious as a heart attack he told me he had all the pieces and wondered if he could have the tire patched....

Obvious victim of the public schools earlier in life!

They are about 15 miles from Omaha right now. About 6 hours to go before they reach the pits. I am leaving today to catch my flight to Chicago, so Rick Bird will be taking over the Team Leftcoast Racing progress on their journey while he sits at home! Sorry Rick, you know you light up my life. LOL. Mama Bird.....thank you for taking care of Dick Papa and Ashley while they were there, and getting that kid to eat! We need to reduce the amount of lead we keep traveling with, too much tongue weight!! Can't wait to see both of you in NY!!

Well They Are 400 Miles From Depue, And They Just Blew A Second Trailer Tire Out. We Had It Set Up To Get Tires Last Night But Tony Said He Was Cool And Could Make It, I Wonder Were He Getsthat From. Ohwell Hes The The Capt This Leg Of The Trip And We All Know You Dont ? The Capt.lol I Told Him So.lol
