It's home and being worked on for Curwensville

        Hi Scott,
I drove to Tim's house in Delaware and picked it up on Sunday. I needed my own motor. And my son wants to run the boat. If I sell some of my Lionel trains and a piano, I won't have to sell the boat to get my self out of the hot water with Mrs. Wagner. Skippy's fired up about CSR after he drove my new Silvestri on Saturday. I couldn't pass up the deal that Tim offered. CSR now has 2 new registered members. A big thanks to Tim for cutting me the deal.

        Rick Sr.

        PS thanks Dan

I will do my best Marc. Hey i have a question for you. Does the boat have a honeycomb bottom in the back on it?

                Bottom

Yes, it has a composite bottom and was originally designed to be a flat turner. See what you can do with it as I am a rookie at runabouts designs.

That boat is very quick in a straight line. Getting it to turn seems to be the tricky part.

                    good luck.

                        Turning

I have complete confidence in skippy's ability to take this boat and make it turn with the proper R&D on the fin location.

The last year that Buddy ran the runabout with the new Titanium Skid Fin it worked like a charm he won quite a number of heats with it.

Everyone has their own theory but all of my CSR's have the center of the fin bracket 36" forward from the transom. And, the fin has to be PERFECTLY perpendicular with the transom. Start with 4-1/2" of fin below the bottom measured off of the flat pad and it should work. Fine tune from there.
