The J-Boats and the trailer are headed to Brockville, Ontario, Canada for a race June 21 and 22. Kelly Shane drove down to pick the trailer up yesterday and will tow it to the race. According to Robin they had about 40 kids interested in driving the boats. They will limit it to less than that. June 16, 2008: Boat Building Project Receives DoE Award
The boat building project has received the Department of Education Creating Excellence Award at an awards luncheon Monday, June 16. Natalie Coronas had applied for this award last fall during the boat building project at Bluestone Middle School. The award ceremony was held at the Double Tree Richmond Airport.
