If you hadn't heard. TJ came in off the coarse at Augusta and seemed to be having some issues. After Make Tate got him out of his boat he still seemed not to be the TJ we are used to seeing. After a few minutes we decided to take him for a visit up to the ambulance. They put him on an ekg machine and his power plant was not pulling enough compresion if you know what i mean. They decided he needed to go to the hospital for a quick hone and some new rings to see if they could get the horse power he lost back. After they performed some quick motor work ( a stint to unplug a 99% blocked artery) he returned to the pits Sunday late looking much better. Looks like Tracy and Brian have a new pit boss with experence. Hope your feeling better TJ. As I sat on the judges stand as referee it had a very deja vu feeling to our race at Grass lake last year. Looks like GOD!!! was in your court and some of our fallen commrads( Kevin Ladd, Don Allen, Terry Whitham) weren't ready for you to visit quite yet. Close call but all is well SEE YA Mikey

T.J. should stand for TOUGH Johnston!
Just got off the phone with him. He called to apologize that he had not got my gearfoot mailed to me today because his doctor appointment ran long! Can you believe that!!!!
He is doing great and plans to race at the Zanesville Mod Divisionals! He even has a good sense of humor....said he didn't want to go like George Carlin did.
So glad he's still with us
