  • Central Divisionals update

Here is what I know so far from your one armed typist......

So far they have ran the first heat of JH, ASH & DMH with wind delays inbetween heats and now a complete wind delay shut down.

Heck, I am five hours north and the wind is blowing hard here!

Good turnout reported, more tonight if I get a call.

Anyone else know anything...boy this sucks sittin' at home!

Jeff I got the same report they ran ASH with white caps then went on wind delay. I could hear the wind howling in the phone when I talked to Matt.

This race site is much like Franklin, where its well protected. The wind must really be blowing bad for this to happen there.

C'mon Greg, grocery shopping with Heather can't be like any normal grocery shopping experience.

            Good luck tomorrow, everyone!

                        Big Thanks...

To everyone who attended Alexandria, Ky.

Wind blew us out Saturday, but everyone stepped up Sunday and we got the program done in perfect racing conditions.

110 boats...really good racing in several classes. Only 1 flip, no injuries.

Some folks traveled from quite a distance...New York, Oklahoma, Florida. TRORA really appreciates everyone's attendance and help.

CSH had 10 boats...won by New Jersey's Troy Gladkowski. So, the spoiler prevented a Divisional Qualifier. The guy is fast...be ready at Whitney Pt.

DMH had a great field...awesome race.

Thanks again...hope to see you all in 2009.

                        Dana

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!

                              Thanks TRORA

Thanks to all who worked hard to make Alexandria a great race. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone. Got home at 4:00 am and was doing a root canal by 9:00 am, if I only had a jet to go to races I could sure travel more. Can only do that once in a while!!!!!!!! Thanks again to everyone who worked so hard. Beatiful place.
