Nothing fancy, but here's a few shots of our new race site, a big thanks to J-Dub and all who helped there, at Mayfield Lake. It was a great weekend!

It looked like a nice site and the Washington weather was still holding from Lake Lawrence. Only 17 more days till our first race.

Really enjoyed meeting all of you guys a few days ago and I learned a lot. It was a great way for a new person to start; help, watch and ask questions. I have a restricter plate coming so now all I need to find is another prop for 20SSH. Then we can run two classes and get more seat time, or should I say kneel time.

Looks like a nice race site. Here in Minnesota, the fishing opener is this coming weekend, and there is a lot of concern that the ice won't be off of a lot of the northern lakes where the nice walleyes lurk. I am starting to get fired up to get back on the water when the only ice is in my whiskey-coke.

I like the one of US2; our defending J Hydro Nationals winner and new J Hydro Western Divisional Champ Shane Thompson. He this won this one with a great driving job, getting around Ashley Rucker on the outside in a killer 3 lap duel. One of several heats that had great races (Kyle Bahl vs. J Michael Kelly in CSH - epic!) for a healthy crowd of spectators.

Nice pics, Sean - takes some pressure off me. Downloaded the chip last night and found 748 photos I got a lot of culling to do. Then I have to see if the video is any good.

btw - y'all should know Sean is OK after a nasty looking dump on Saturday. He had us worried for a bit, but it was good to see him back in the pits for the rest of the weekend - even with that funny looking neckwear. The lake may not have been iced over, but it was cold - Fire Department said 45 degrees.

A great weekend and a big thanks to JW Meyers for putting the race together.

FYI .... Joe's 72N update : your boat had it first OSY race here in region 10. It ran well and handled seemingly great. Safety was action item #1 for its first race and we worked on tracking and turns. One more weekend of safety checks then R&D goes to adding 2 mph. Thanks again.

elims in JH, 20SSh and CSH

great racing in most classes, quite a few deck to deck duels for 3 lap's.

The J and AX races were some of the best to watch.

this is a very nice place to race and pretty well protected from the wind and boat traffic

a big shout out to the Lewis County Fire and Rescue, they had a number of medics there and were somewhat busy on Sat. but they kept the show rolling along !!!

As great of a race that it was in JH, unfortunately that was Sunday's race and not a divisional. Shane did a great job! Divisional winners I believe were:

Yes, got the bottom fixed and the boat ran pretty decent for the first time. Unfortunately, I hit a wave a little wrong and stuffed it in my second heat of CSH. Not fun. So, as Jimi O's son Gino put it......." it needs a little 'repoxy'", and it will be good as new.
