Hello All! Some cool news from Canada!!

Glen Stevenson, acting CBF President, asked me to post this on here. We've been trying to generate enough entries to host a Kilo Event in the Fall in Eastern Ontario. It is CBF and APBA Joint Sanctioned!.
You can sign up for more than one run if you wish.

Open to all CBF and APBA racing members

Location: Cardinal ON, Canada
- Just East of Brockville Ontario
- Prescott/Ogdensburg border crossing

Classes: All existing CBF Racing classes

Pre-registration: Entry fee MUST be received at CBF head office by May 16, 2008

Refunds available if level of interest insufficient

Cost: $175.00 CDN per entry

Time Trials: Fastest time recorded with minimum of 2 runs per entry

Accommodations: Camping in pits

Hey Tom,
The only details I have at this time are above. Pre Registration is required prior to May 19 at the CBF head office. If there are not enough entries by that date they will pull the plug. There will be refunds available if the event does not happen.

The event is to run: August 30 & 31, 2008
As for Pro, you would have to contact CBF Office to confirm classes as i'm not sure.

Keep the entries coming, it is not often there is a kilo run on the east coast.

I would not contact CBF Office for specific questions other than payment.

More than likely the girls in the office will not understand all the classes.

Right on the St. Lawrence river where we used to race?

Or on the remnants of the old canal?

Sorry can't come anyway, conflicts with OPC Nationals.

It is in the old canal. Supposedly an idea spot. I've never seen it though.
