Looks like a big crowd heading to Tabor City NC this weekend. Get an early start on the season and be there. North American Championships in DMH and DMR. Weather looks great and a fantastic new sight for racing. See you there!

    Hi Bob,
Do you have an address we can punch into our GPS?

The name of the road that goes to the pits is Lynwood Norris Rd Tabor City N.C. Looks like it dead ends right at the water

I heard jtb's son went over in testing yesterday. It's his first race in JH. He's ok, but a little spooked. I'm gonna head down and watch the action today. I'm taking the camera so hopefully I'll have some pics to post tomorrow.

I talked to Matt last night and he said it was windy yesterday. The J blew over backwards testing so I can see why he is spooked being his first race. I looked at the forcast for today and the winds are suposed to be higher yet, 20 to 25 mph. I had to cancel this weekend or would have been there.

Real windy today too. I think I saw 3 go over. They finally called it during the ASH race when one went over. Nobody got hurt. Of course, it never fails that half an hour after they called it the weather turned nice again. I took a ton of pictures that I have to go through and see if there are any good ones. I'd give you all results but you gotta remember I'm a drag racer and was just there to support JT's son, and didn't even get to see the little Goober run. I do know Steve Dunn won one heat, but that's about all I can remember. I did have a great time, and met a lot of great people. Tabor is a great site, we have 3 of our ECDBA races there. I'll start going through the pictures soon and see if I can get a few up.

I only took a 300mm lens, and it wasn't enough since they had to move the course necause of the wind. Here's a few pics:

And just a couple of people pics. You may know the first 2. The last one is Johnny Bried, son of jtb, and new J racer. I hope the little Goober has a good day today!
