Wow, never seen this before... no helmet even... lucky the second guy didn't crack his skull. I guess it goes to show it's all marketing.

That's what I mean... all marketing... win on Sunday, sell on Monday.

Up here we have dog agility trials on TV all day long on the outdoor networks... these groups appear to be little more than house wives playing with thier dogs in a field. (I know there is lots of training, I had a border collie and why I watch the shows). It's a low budget production but someone makes the show, then they sell the commercial time to event sponsors. It's like an infomercial sort of thing. The show buys a 30 minute time slot and puts in it's own commercials for sposnors. I think this is how the Lucas Oil shows work too.

I wonder how much a low end production of the two biggest classes at a race costs?

I couldn't even watch it all. It makes me appreciate how good a real race boat can handle, as well as how skilled my competitors are. I guess some people will do just about anything for money.
