    Somehow the cat was let out of the bag and the following was posted today on the Apba bulletin. Brent, you are amazing! Not only are you one of the nicest (and quietest) guys in the pits....you are obviously the most humble!
    Congratulations on your huge accomplishment!

          Brent,
          Congratulation's on your honor of being inducted to the hall of fame.

          For those of you who dont know, this is a very small group of people since 1959 who have made the "grade" out of thousands of gymnasts and coaches to make it to this level, very much like our (APBA) honor squadron.

                    Famous Pit Man

                    Brent was one of our pit men at Constantine and Depue for the last couple of years and if Big Dave had known he was famous ,he would have treated him better.Naw,probably not.
                    This is the best thing I've heard all week!

                      Guys and gals,
                      Thanks for all the kind comments. They're very much appreciated!!

                      I know that I'll never get anywhere near the same level in boat racing as I did in gymnastics, but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy every minute I can racing and being around such a great bunch of people.

                      I recently got a card for my daughter that I think says it better than I ever could;

                      "The best things in life.....................aren't things."

                      Thanks, again and see ya at the races this summer!

                      Be well,
                      Brent Simmons
