Radio Question

Has anyone used radio ***mincations in a kneeler that works well, and is realtivley cheap ? If so, what brand and where did you get it ? About what was the cost ?

I wasted lots of money playing with the cheap radios/FRS/GMRS/radio shack home brews/etc... do yourself a favour and at least step up to the race radio mics and ear plugs. Yes it's more, but not much for just that part... and save huge on the headaches and aggrivation of doing your own wire harnesses. Then if you don't like the results with FRS type radios you can easily upgrade to real radios. The kids can play with the FRS

I used them for years in C-Stock with me, Chris and Sean Augustine all talking to each other during the race while on the water........ The Motorola SP50 or P110's are older but cheap now and work great. I also use to use them in the Pro's until recent rule changes took care of that!

I am not sure if I would want Sean and Chris all talking at once, they might figure out how close they are and wet each other down !
