    20SSH Weight

Well, I thought you were all asleep.... I am not sure that everyone understands the process completely. The SORC does not come up with this stuff on their own .. at least not anymore. This topic was introduced by a member of the 20SSH community. It is on the agenda and if there is a motion and a 2nd motion it will be discussed. The only thing the SORC can do is vote to put this on a ballot that you all will vote on. It is not a safety issue. I have received you letters and comments on this already. I can only vote if there is a tie. So.....if it it were to gets past the SORC which isn't likely.......the registered 20SSH hydro drivers will vote to increase the weight for themselves.

This one is on the 20SSH members....

And all of the proposals for that matter came from the members of APBA STock Outbaord for the meeting....hopefully you have all been in contact with your region representative to share your views...those are the folks with the votes...

I say raise it so I can make a come back and kick Donny's AZZ....oh wait....it would have to be 500 lbs to do that... forget it....leave it at 400!

        leave the weight alone

This issue should be dead and buried.

What precipatated the commission(you) to even put this on the 'formal' agenda?? It is so out of touch with the needs of the class??

As a 20ssh supporter, it makes some sense to discuss the 3/4" transom height limit in lieu of the current 1/2"...........many drivers i have talked with think this may have some merit to help motors from burning up, consequently saving parts!

This would make for a more reasonable point of discussion in Detroit.

I dont understand why there has to be such a weight difference in the C class between hydros and runabouts where there isn't much or any difference in other classes.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the weight to get lowered though.

Leave the class a lone. hieght rule should not be changed.
I am not having any trouble pumping water nor was I having
problem in csh. Both rigs were competitive. If you can't pump
you need to change your setup!!

                Csr

HEEEEYYYY! now there's a change that would benifit me! Lowering to 460lbs would help me a ton (i add between 30-40lbs!)...but considering CSR is a 'fat' class i don't see that passing...

It's a saftey issue that is why they lowered it.

I will be shocked if they don't lower the 20 class so they are all the same. As much as I don't want it lowered. It is what it is.

The fast guys will still be the fast guys.

Don't even think about it skinny! I know of some great B (15) motors if you could just get your buddies involved. Of course, you would have to lose that training wheel on the left side of your boat.

If we could get like 4 or 5 Bsr out here i would be soooo down! I love watching that class. I think i could do without the training wheels in that class...i would need a little more practice though (last time a ran a middle fin was asr about 8years ago and put a hole in Pat's favorite boat, oops ). Don't hate the player hate the game...haha
