Future Lake Placid Dates

How many would be interested in running at Lake Placid the last weekend in February? Would this be too close to the March events? It may be a good opportunity to dial things in.

Also, does anyone have any input for an April event? What dates would work best?

Russ, would this be in addition to the one previously scheduled for the weekend of the 16th & 17th or just replace it? Doug Mac had mentioned in his newsletter, a possible Greater Tampa Bay AOF race in May or June. I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds good. Here we are, surrounded by water and we are looking at only one scheduled stock race this spring within the state.

I believe this would be a replacement for the earlier date if that is what the racers want. Carl is trying to pick dates that work best for everybody.
As far as the greater Tampa area race, I had a site that wanted us to put a race on. I did a bunch of leg work on it and wound up taking crap about it so I left it alone. I am focusing on SFO activities now and helping Carl when I can.

The last weekend of Feb isn't going to be the greatest. We have;

Lakeland on March 1/2 J/SO/OPC/I
Jesup on March 8/9/10 J/SO/MOD
Ocoee on March 14/15/16 J/SO
Chattahoochee on March 29/30 OPC

April has 1 possible in SC the 12th/13th and Peace River is thinking about one for the 19th /20th then in May the OPC's and PRO's start to travel with the series.

My vote (if Becky's cast is off) would be to stay with Feb 16/17.
