Where can I get some decent foam for a kneeling pad? My local source folded up and suggestions would be appreciated.

Tim, there is an outfit in San Antonio, Tx that has it. It's Foam Fabricators
    (210) 657-5917 or 1 (800) 327-7125 Also www.sanantoniofoam.com. In the past, I dealt with Jenifer Urdiales, Sales Rep. They usually deal in large quanties but were glad to help me out.. Jack

I just use the blue foam in the camping dept of WalMart only a half inch thick but is very comfertable to kneel on and for 62 yr old knees thats saying something Comes in a roll 6ft long enough for two boats or one doubling it.Cost about 5.00 or 6.00 bucks

                Foam...

I'll second George's recommendation, that's what I've got in all three boats, doubled up for a runabout, though. George is a stud, he only needs a half inch! You can also get in contact with Carl Holt up in Ohio, he's got some really good quality stuff, look for his son 'dholt' on HR for contact info. GL

                  Foam

Years ago I found that WW Granger stocks closed cell foam for use for insulation on large refrigeration units. It is black and I have been using the 1 inch foam for years. It is a very good item and is easy to use. It cuts easy and also forms well. I think the last sheet I bought a year ago cost about $45.

Tim, I told you I can get any kind of foam in various sizes from Mc Master-Carr. I get it overnite by UPS from their Atlanta Whse but you can also pick it up there. http://www.mcmaster.com/ I am using the Moisture resistant, closed cell EVA foam sheet, 1" thick by 29" by 47", p/n 86095K26, cost $45.98/ea. It's black so not pretty but tough and doesn't tear easy. Jon
