just curious as to why the class titles were changed? Seems so much easier and better able to distinguish the classes when they were: DMH, DMR, etc? Now, it has gone to the CC sizing? Is not that gonna be confusing and maybe get mixed up with the PRO class titles??

The general public recognizes CC's
With motorcycles, snowmobiles, go-karts, PWC's, and even leaf blowers using CC's for engine sizes, even if they don't understand the metric system, people can compare numbers and know that classes are different. The alphabet is slightly less precise. Pro changed years ago so why didn't the rest of us? I don't really think the issue is important enough to start getting all stubborn about.

I'm not pickin' on anyone
Ease up there big guy. I guess where I'm coming from is that I see way too much these days where people seem to want to take issue with any kind of change no matter how insignificant it may be. I have raced D since 1960 and I don't care what it's called, it's still 4 cylinder mean and nasty. The reason for the change was explained on the ballot and I supported it.
