178 hour of driving time
Seattle to Bakersfield – 1032 miles
Bakersfield to Ocoee – 2529 miles
Ocoee back to Seattle – 3082 miles
Seattle to Depue – 1996 miles
Depue to Whitney Point – 802 miles
Whitney Point back to Seattle – 2742 miles
12,183 total miles ÷ 8 mpg = 1522 gallons of diesel x $3.415 = $5200.
Count me in.
Now, who can we "talk" into driving...

Travles...
Ok, so I hear they would like to run 45's and the Winter Nats and if they can scrounge up 8, I would seriously think about it. I have my trailer that would haul one 45 and four other big boats (C or larger). In a perfect world, I would like to take the 305R, the 45 and a DSH: that leaves two more spots on the trailer plus whatever we can stack on the tow-vehicle. Byrne and Perman would have a spot for a boat each.
OR
Ditch the 45 and we bring a boat-load (yes, pun intended) of outboards so we can all spread out the cost of gas......
I could probably negotiate time off with the employer and drive one way and fly the other.
Thoughts?

I spoke to Tom Cronk yesterday and he would sure like region 10 to make the trip! We could pick a few classes and prep for Nationals. With 45 / D numbers questionable :
Consider .... 6 or 7 302s and CSH/20SS boats from the NW; so far we have 4 that said they would go?
1. Guedo (I'll supply Guedo with a straw and Crown)
2. Mikey
3. Daren
4. Team Byrne
Trailer spots 5,6 (7?) we could check with J Micheal, Nilsens, Bahl, Johnson, Peabody, Bob W ......Last edited by drbyrne55; 01-16-2008, 05:04 PM.BOPP

Hmmmm
I am thinking about bringing Ashley down to run JH/JR AXSH/AXSR.....was going to try to find her a ride but if it isn't to financially detrimental, I would consider putting her two boats on the trailer????
Let me know what you come up with.

I go, it would be with a CSR (OR DSH, if 8 were committed) .............no CSH for me for awhile..........
who's rig would be used to pull? I hear Guido wants to buy a NEW Diesel 1ton pickup!!Last edited by mercguy; 01-16-2008, 06:38 PM.Daren
