Well said Jim
I too want to thank Mark and Steve for all the "behind the scenes" work they have put into this project to maintain the supply of J/AX engines. A lot has been going on over the last few months to make sure engines could be procurred and at a price very close to previous supply.
Just because there wasn't a lot of answers on another thread regarding the future of the J engine, doesn't mean it wasn't being worked on. Many times if even a tentative answer would have been given it would create 100 more questions and potentially create more issues by
1) taking time to answer questions (many at the time that couldn't be) which would have...
2) taken more time away from the efforts to obtain engines and meet deadlines
Mark has shown over the past 6+ years his committment to the J-category and has made it a priority along with APBA to continue this very successful program.
THANKS!

Fred Hauenstein and many others at Mercury Racing also put alot of effort into getting these engines for APBA.
None of this would have been possible without the full support of APBA President Mark Weber. Mr. Weber is a big supporter of Junior Classes Racing.Last edited by Mark.Wheeler; 12-20-2007, 11:46 AM.

Great job guys. This is some of the best news we've had in a while. Since there is such a small amount of motors, I wonder if it would be possible to make sure that they are sold only to new racers. It seems like this would be a wasted effort if these motors were all bought up by people who already run Mercurys in the J and AX classes. I think we should let those people find motors if they want a second(or third or forth, etc.), and save these for the newbies.Last edited by ryan_4z; 12-20-2007, 11:55 AM.Ryan Runne
