Hey George I guess they would say the same thing about guys and gals who race boats the size of coffee tables at speeds in the 60, 70 & 80mph rangeHTML Code:

Funny how it won't work two ways...
My wife is begging for someone to get her a skydive gift...I say, NOPE ain't gunna happen, and she gets mad at my reasoning. I say, I'm gunna race my daughters hydro while she is grounded from it, and my wife, has a hissy fit and says, NOPE....
What's safer? I once went to a skydive convention in Lake Geneva, Wisc at the airport...It was one of those dive in conventions....
You look up and out of a DC-3 came a hundred or so....Several came down wearing casts on their legs and hands....Then it dawned on me...About half of the 3,000 people on the ground had some type of cast or ace bandage on a body part.....
Ever see half the racers walking around the pits in casts at any event????

Skydiving...............
Robbie Erble just took his first jump and he loved it, now David Hooten wants to try it. Tim my neighbor is on the US skydive team and he has many jumps under his belt, but his last jump wasn't so great, he was doing video for the team and they had some clouds role in, when he cleared the cloud he was at 400 feet and staring at power lines, needless to say he slammed the ground. Tim broke his neck and back in three places, he says he will jump again.
Good luck to those that want to try this crazy ass sport. I'm sticking to the water.........................

It is a rush....I jumped with the Army's Elite parachute team The Golden Knights 2 weeks ago from 13,500 feet. It was 38 degrees on the ground but it was a blast. I have the whole thing on DVD. That was my second jump. This one was out of a plane...the first one was at 15,000 feet from a Blackhawk helicopter. I promised the Knights a ride in a race boat in return....we'll see if anyone take me up on it!
