        This sucks

        I tell you what Johns team has been thru hell the last year. Lets hope things turn around for 2008. They were talking about having a 4 car team again. John is THE man in Top Fuel funny, hands down.

          Roll cage breaks in half

          John's lucky to have legs. You can see his foot sticking out of the tumbling wreckage on the right in the lower picture.

            Im a huge NHRA fan and i just about had a heart attack watching the race last night.I hope he heals quick.John is the man,It wouldnt be the same without him.

              Yeah, John is a amazing guy. About 7~8 years ago I was in Gainesville Florida watching the annual NHRA Gatornationals. I was in the pits watching a crew getting ready to fire up a fuel car. I quickly started to back away in order avoid getting a face full of nitro fumes. As I stepped away, somehing struck my leg and I fell on my butt. I looked up and John was getting out of his golf cart and was asking if I was okay. He was helping me up when I recognized him. I just smiled and said, "Why don`tcha learn how drive?!" He just smiled and we shook hands, and that was that.

              Anyhow, he`s recovering as expected. Here`s a update from his site.
