    Looking at pictures

Looking at pictures is one thing. I find some of these early beasts very intriguing when studied up close in person at an AOMCI event. Many are restored to perfection.

Quick, quick: What does the acronym ELTO represent???

Antique Outboard Meet at Lake Shipp, FL

Last weekend the AOMC held an antique outboard meet at Lake Shipp, FL, near Winter Haven. I was lucky enough to attend on Friday, and my wife & I took quite a few pictures of the various boats & motors on display. Here's a sample of the quality of boats/motors in attendance.

If you'd like to see more photos, please go to the Boat Racing Facts web site, click forums, then scroll down to the Quincy Welding, Loopers & More section. You'll find almost 100 pictures from Lake Shipp. Hope you enjoy looking at these great boats & motors as much as I did.

                thanks,

                Paul A Christner

Thanks Tom, I could see it on my screen but didn't know it didn't go through. Hope you all enjoy seeing my boats in action. S115R is a rare boat, was told may be the only one on the water today. It was a joy restoring them and seeing them both in the water for the first time.

Gene - Very nice. Great you could get a pic of them both running together. Keeping the history of the sport alive ------------- Priceless

Hard to tell from the resolution of the video, but from the locale, I would guess Wayne Seeburg and Jim Grinsted.
