Rick Bird asked me to let you all know that his brother Josh, who races Rick's boats from time to time, was badly injured in a motorcycle accident. He was riding on the back of bike that was running well over 100 mph. There was drinking involved, and as a result Josh now has two broken elbows and road rash to the bone from head to toe. He's going to be in the hospital for a while, so let's wish him the best through all of this. If you want to talk to Rick I'm sure he'd love to hear from you. Remember to be careful when you've been drinking.

Being Ricks brother means you come from the same stock, which makes you an incredibly humble and warm person. Though we don't know you, your part of our large extended family through Rick.
