I live in Saint Louis but grew up in Minnesota and still have family that lives there. I had driven across that bridge about two months ago. My Daughter-in-law drove across it about an hour before the collapse and my Daughter was in class as a grad student and would have driven across it when she got out of class. I has "rattled" me personally and my heart goes out for the tragic loss to the families and people from Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Brian, Bruce, Mike, Steve, and everyone are you and yours all ok?

Sister Julie, works at the U and drives that bridge as well. Cindy had an appointment up that way and drove past it this AM. Utter devestation. She would have been on that bridge today. I am keeping those in need in my thoughts . Thanks to all who have phoned here with their concern. Very nice to know we have freinds that care.

Close call
One of our son's fiances was back and forth across that bridge several times yesterday showing some properties to clients. Her last trip across the bridge was at about 5:30 or a little over one half hour before it went down. Fortunately yesterday was not her time to go. mike 67GComment
