    Get Well Soon

Big Paulie, The next time I stay at your house I will race you to the GIANTS DEN for breakfast. Take care, and see you in Winona in a couple of weeks.

Hey everyone! We just left the hospital to eat lunch and DAD is doing AMAZING! he was walking today. It was weird to see him walk without a limp. He seems to not be in much pain. The therapist said he is doing great.
He sure does appreciate everyone thinking about him! We read the posts to him when we go to his room!
We are very lucky to have such a great boat racing family.
      Thanks again,
      Abbi & Paulie

                Latest Update

Hey everyone! well last night here in INDY! We are on our way HOME in the morning. We are all ready. We had a busy day today, Dad learned how to climb stairs this morning. He did very well.
Then this afternoon/evening we had a few visitors. Ray and his wife stopped in. Then Josh and Erin Kimble came by. Also a friend from dad's childhood that lives out here even came by. It was good to see his face light up when they walked in the room. I think he can only look at us kids for so long! Im not really sure why hahahaha!

Please continue to keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery, he says he is going to Winona in 2 weeks. So hopefully we will see everyone there. Feel free to call our house after tomorrow night, Im sure he would love to hear from all of you!

Thanks again for all your support,
                Abbi & Paulie

                  My two cents

Paul looked great last night. Unreal that the surgery was only a few days ago and now as I sit here at 6:30am he will be on his way home today. Paul says he will be at Winona and will be up for a few laps around the lake.

Way to go Ab and Paulie, I am proud of you, and your love for your Dad is evident in how the two of you took care of him.

Take care my friend and I look forward to seeing you out manuvering all of us at the Nationals. Maybe a few steps on the dance floor?

                  Ray

Hey Paulie!! We are so happy to hear that everything went so wonderfully for you during and after the surgery. You're going to ask yourself why you haven't done this sooner. Did they have to break your pelvis or was it already broken? If it was already broken, you had to be in some big time pain! Keep doing your therapy and rest when you can. You are in our thoughts and prayers daily! See you in Winona.
