A Kohler 2 cycle, that's rare! Looks fast in a straight line, but can you do a back flip? (on purpose )

      Kohlers are not that rare

Kohlers are what they ran in the Snow Twisters, they where used in a lot of racing sleds in the mid 70's, I guess you could say they are rare but in the day they were common. Nice sled, have fun, wear hearing protection

I put a few of the Raiders together out of the crate brand new 1970-72? Worked for a Honda shop (Leisure-Time-Toys) in Corry Pa. We sold Artic Cats / yamaha sleds / and a few Raiders.......blast to drive!!!!

I think they had some success in oval race'n in early 70's ??

Speedways and the Thunder-jets were some WILD-FASST rides !!!!

Here's a pic of my old 71 EXT Special----custom all aluminum rear suspension (copied the steel one)...Was a hand-full at grass drags !!..gave a few alky "Turf Tagers" a run fer it.....Feller with a few of the 650/800 "King Kats" had to have her.........miss just look'n at it...........

score69....thats a pretty darn close guess. Its a 71 amf ski daddler. Here is a pic of my 69 ski daddler.....Its called a supertwin and there are only 2 of them in the country that amf collectors know of....Its a very rare sled indeed!

                          Ski-Daddler

I remembered the Ski-daddler, they used to be sold right here in Indian River, Just two doors up from my house. They also sold the Harley Davidson, also made by AMF. Also, I rode a gray Ski-daddler, (silver?) that looked quite a bit like yours. Back in the glory day of snowmobile manufacturing. Seems like there were at least thirty brands of sleds and you could hardly drive five miles without coming across a dealer for one of them. Great Pics Nick.
I have seen a magazine article of that ArticCat collection. A rather unbelievable collection of performance Cats. KampKurz

Anyone remember the OMC streamiliner sled powered by a Buick 231cu.in V-6?

                              They called it Pegasis.
