Page 24 , B modified Hydro : "Mercury 25 Hydro engine is legal for the B mod Hydro class" is this the 25XS or SS or Mark 25 type? is this stock (Closed up ) or modified ? confused!!!!

Currently, the legal Mercury motors are the 22 cu in motors including the Mercury 25SS. For a list of modifications, go to the APBA website, bottom left hand column click on downloads and forms. Scroll down until you find the 2006 Modified Tech Manual. This should help you out.

The 25 XS motor is 24.4 cu in and is not legal in B or 25 Mod. It can be prototyped in C Mod for 2006. In the March Propeller, in the Modified column, I hope to explain what constitutes prototype in Mod and what engines are legal.
