John & I had a guess about how much older you and we are back in June after you and I shared some remembrances at the Jesup drivers meeting in June. I won the guess at 5 years. John guessed you were already 81.
I met you at Greenwood Lake in 1968-'69 while I was running my A-Looper, and you were campaigning your "garbage-can" B two-cylinder Koenig. Which went like stink, by the way! You mentored me then while I started out, and I treasure that.
