My son came to me and asked about my dad, John Cafarelli. I told him he passed long before he was born. Ashten said he would have like to meet him and asked how he died. I said a heart attack. He said I hope you don't die so my kids can meet you. I am not sure how any dad could have held back the tears.
The point of the stoy is my son wanted to raise money for the American heart association so grandpa's don't die of heart attacks. He has been working his butt off raising money. I am so proud of him. He watched the neighbors dog for three days and donated all of his money he earned. He wanted a goal of 1000 dollars but we talked him into a goal of 400. He has crushed that goal with a week or so to go. I sold my kid short I was wrong. Please help me and my son support his original goal.
