ALERT - New Upgrade First Look

We will be working on the upgrade of hydroracer this weekend.

This means that the site will be down (or up and down) as I work on it. Please understand it will be a work in progress for a few days (maybe a week). If I am not working on it I will turn it back on so you all can use it.

Just wanted you to know if it is down why it is down and if it looks different the reason why (especially if it looks unfinished).

Please be patient during this upgrade process. If you can't find something let me know I might know where it is, then again I might not.....yet then we will find it together!

Ok the upgrade is up and running, please re-read post #1. if you do have issues it would help if you also list your operating system and browser to help us pinpoint issues. I have just figured out that the smilies are working, :-(

Ok, still finding a few holes to plug. Suddenly things that didn't work now aren't. Example we know that you can't go beyond page 1 in each forum without getting an error we are working on that presently. Also we know the search button isn't working, we have to rebuild search indexes and needed more power from the host to do that.

After upgrading from XP to 8.1, 2 weeks ago, this is child's play. What web site has ever launched, or changed format, with no problems ever...?

Sorry Dean, it was necessary due to age of old version. We knew not everyone would like it but we needed to move forward. The old version was starting to experience issues.

I am able to read the font a lot better then the old site, looks good to me

Dean Im curious could you be a bit more specific? what exactly don't you like? detailed feedback will help both the site owners and VB who has a support person here for a day or two helping out. The old entry portal that was being used was developed by a now deceased gentleman. The code was written in the late 90's.

..............i call it like it is. i agree with Dean. Ugh. but i still think you guys are great (Teresa and Mike). the site is to 'busy' and the 'threads' are just way to hard to follow and find. but i guess i will get use to it. UPDATE...since i posted this yesterday it looks like the home page has been redone to show the threads like the old site!! Now we are rocking!! Good deal.
