  • Spicy New Orleans - teaser

Kinda fallling asleep with recent snoring HR threads, here's some spice:

Official report for those freezin in northern CDA/US:
OK, so, a month ago, I was figuring out how to kill 5-6 days with family bt Xmas & New Year,...
Hmmm, never been to NO, heard good things,...searched Expedia, $3M flight and hotel all in for 3 out of Barffalo; done, booked it.

WOW, this is a great town!!
The hot MILF's/Cougars, great Jazz & Blues clubs in French Qrtr, great food, tons of seafood, Creole/Cajun, cheap booze, Larry Flint's Hustler Club, Guccione's Penthouse club, Gentlemen's Parlour's, beads for well earned exhibitionists, etc...did I say cheap booze?
N.O. Saints vs Buccaneer's 3:30pm tomorrow(Sun) at Superdome; snagged ticket in 600 level with Rowdie's, tailgating starts early, going to National WW2 Museum first. BOOYAH!
Staying @ Dntn Hilton, free wine in lobby 3-6pm, getting looped daily followed by happy hr 4-6pm half price drinks and oysters @ $0.50 each, just finished 2doz oysters; been outshi**ting a CDA goose.
8pm now, heading out to clubs, trolling for MILF/Cougar/Brown Shugah with live bait(CDN freshwater trouser trout), while the Old Lady's slumbering upstairs. Practicing strict catch & release conservation policy for future generations

What's happenin in frozen CDA/US?... LOL,... couldn't give a smooth crap!!
    Gotta run, WHOOOHOOOO!!
    Vaya con Dios Amigos!
PS: someone send penicillen and morphine.
Stock Outboard Racing!....because other sports,....golf, football, baseball, etc....only require one Ball!

Well the game/Superdome/tailgating was what the Roman Colliseum would have been 2000+ years ago, a pre-game spectacle of debauchery followed by battle bt Gladiators just short of death,...although the Buc's were officially slaughtered.

      Off to more jazz/blues clubs.

PS: need penicillin, may have picked up something nasty last night, burning & itching...packing Kevlar pants next time.

hydroid, Now you done gone and told everybody!

Just kidding. I really like New Orleans too. Lots to do there. Everyone thinks of Bourbon Street but there's so much more. The WWII Museum, a great zoo (not the one on Bourbon Street!), the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas (at the end of Canal Street), the Civil War Museum (across the street from the WWII Museum), and more.

Plenty of good eating establishments. The last time I was in New Orleans I was there for 3 days. I never ate at the same place twice and ate only at "local" places - no "chain" restaurants. I never left the French Quarter either. I like to stay at the Wyndham on the corner of Canal and Royal - one block over from Bourbon. Can walk or take streetcars to almost everywhere.

Oh yeah.... From 4pm until 6 or 7pm, the beer is 3 for 1 at most of the bars on Bourbon Street.
        ...

OMC FE/SE powerhead parts for sale. Kurcz ported block, Mod 50 pistons and cylinder head, exhaust, etc.

I have spent MANY a night/weekend in NOLA. I love that place. Can't wait to head back down there soon and hangout with friends of mine from that area.

                No

Went there a few years back before an APBA national meeting. Holy cow...you can buy drinks to go and walk around Bourbon street. It was so very cool...I get up early to head to meeting and stumble around looking for my rental car....here is a club with live blues at 6 am in the morning. Time for another drink....lol.
