Few pics from my visit at the Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina a couple weeks ago.

Ned Jarrett was being interviewed and his car next to stage that day 1966-67 Fairlane must of been a hand full. Said he had more wins for Ford than any other driver.

Mercury Outboard Chrysler and pit crew uniform and some dude with beer belly!

Etc.

For those that may go some day, go EARLY!!
You will need the whole day!!

Daytona is the only place that Hall shoulda been built.It will flop anywhere else.Any true Nascar fan knows where NASCAR was Born.And it wasnt in North Carolina.Duhhhhhhhhh Move it where it belongs.DAYTONA!!!!!!!!!!!

Huh, I didn't realize Junior Johnson, and the other shiners that began the sport, ran moonshine in Florida in the 40's/50's......~~long before France Wintering in New Smyrna Beach, found some cheap beach front land that is now solid condos, and thought up the Nascar label LONG after the moonshiners and Bill France in the Carolinas and Georgia had already been running stock cars for several decades...DOH!!

But it does make sense to have it closer to the 3(?) (Two@Daytona, One@Homasassa) races around the mid country state of Florida than in that Isolated to the circuit, hard to reach, and near about a two dozen events around, and within a couple hours of, the heart of the sport, Charlotte North Carolina.......... Y'ALL!
