  • RIP R-12, Howard V "Andy" Anderson Jr.

By now almost everyone has been notified that on 9-19-13 at 10:15pm we lost our father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend Howard Anderson (R-12). We would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, condolences and help during this most difficult time. Howard loved boat racing, and was honored to be part of this amazing boat racing family.

To view the obitiuary please visit www.becksfuneralhome.com, which should be up in the next few days.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Howards name to the J scholarship fund which can be mailed directly to APBA.

Services for Andy will be held on September 28th at Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds. Rosary will be at 10:30am, service at 11am. There will be a reception after at the church, and following that a family/friends gathering at the family home.

    Holy Rosary Church
    630 7th Ave N Edmonds, WA 98020

If you need an address or directions to the house or church please email ruthierae@msn.com. Anyone coming from out of town and needing a hotel, there is a Best Western in Edmonds and several other hotels in Lynnwood, Wa.

Again, thank you everyone for your prayers, support and kindess. Boat racing has provided us and Andy a lifetime of great memories that we will never forget.

So sorry to hear about this. It's been a rough week for boat racing. Howard was such a good man. Friendly, smart, caring, funny and all the qualities that make you want to spend time with him. Always looked forward to seeing him at the national meeting. He was a class act and will be missed by everybody that new him.
Race in peace, Howard, I'll miss you.
My condolences to Penny and all the family, you are in our prayers.

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!
