Jon Stone...DSH National Champ 1970, 1987 & 1988 and certainly a Merc Challenge World Champ as well.

A class act all the way.

Never forget the Stone Age racing trailer. Must have had 8 boats on it at least at the 1977 Bakersfield Nationals.

        RIP

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!

NOT a representative of Racing Outboards LLC.

So sorry to hear this. Jon was a great racer, a talented builder and we always enjoyed his visits to the west coast to run the Merc Challenge and Lake Lawrence. Thoughts & Prayers to his family. Race in Peace.

                        Jon

My father and I send our condolences , we spent many an hour with Jon and Shirley during our years of racing in Region 2. He was certainly a cornerstone to the Region and if he was entered in the race in any class, you had to beat him to win! I wondered why he was'nt at Whitney Point. Very sad day indeed!
